Thursday's Races

This week we sailed the 9 mile course in a little over 2 hours with moderate wind from the south. Five boats participated, ENDORPHIN and GODSPEED made a short visit to Ahlman’s reef to clean off the bottom of the keel for Saturday’s race.

After rounding race 1 HALE KAI left the fleet astern and finished first across the line, but ENDORPHIN was the winner on corrected time winning by 4 seconds..

Dan McCormick returned from his travels to take third, STERLING finished fourth, and GODSPEED fifth.

Hope to see you all at the crew meeting (11:15) for the Russ Thomas race tomorrow.

Thursday racing is open to everyone, skippers and crew arrive at the marina lounge shortly before noon.

Crew is always welcome (no experience necessary)

Racing is cancelled if the wheather is bad.
