Spring Classic Race - 4/19/2008

The Cypress Cup series started Saturday with light to moderate winds.

The Cruising class sailed a six mile course, while the speed class  sailed 9 miles.

The race started with both classes starting at the same time. ENDORPHIN and STERING got off to an early lead. SHOAL CAT and ABOUT TIME dueled all afternoon, being closely matched.

Attached is a picture of SHOAL CAT and ABOUT TIME  positioning before the start, and CAROLEE being pulled from the shoal off Whichard's Beach (previously known as McCormick's Reef.)

The series may be entered up to the Third race. Come join in the fun.
