Chili
Cook Off Kicks Off CLYC Social Season
Your friendly neighborhood CLYC social committee special
ordered some perfect “chili eating” weather to kick off our 2008 social
season. From all reports, the 145
members who attended the chili cook-off got their fill of delicious concoctions
and had a great time.
Our members were most gracious buying raffle tickets for
the 50-50 raffle and rest assured, the fix WAS
NOT IN when Shelly Rebholz walked away with the “big money”!
Many thanks to all the folks that helped make this outing a
success. I won’t attempt to name them
all, for fear of overlooking someone, but suffice to say our social committee
is composed of hard working people not afraid to pitch in and make things
happen!
Everyone came out a winner on this night. We salute some of finest chili chefs in the
land for their offerings. With those
delicacies, you made your neighbors very happy!
